FAQ & WHY SIGNUP?
We believe our app is a game-changer for monetised conversational content by allowing users to own priority privilege to topical hashtags. And the way it uses those hashtags and channels to categorise displayed content.
Register For UpdateYou can create text only, photo, image or video posts into a category using a single main hashtag.
Yes. Users are allowed to use a single hashtag in any post. However, hastags have to be registered within our cloud ecosystem and linked to your account. This means you post will ranked higher and all other conversations relating to same hashtag topic will rank below yours and hooked onto your top hashtag.
Hashtags can be registered for FREE provided they are available for use through a simple process. It effectively gives the registered user the admin privileges for any post using that hashtag.
Most importantly, the registered user’s post will rank top on searches within the platform for posts with that hashtag.
No. Registering available hashtags for use in post is absolutely FREE. However, it has to be maintained by a simple process of renewal to prevent abuse and standard to our business model.
Yes. Gistsy allows cross-platform sharing which means you can share content to other social media platforms.
CEO’s COMMENT ON THE APP
This is one of the biggest game-changing moment for the industry since the domain name registration internet gold rush. The introduction of a content led platform using hashtags to filter and funnel shared content within clear channels and categories is a shift away from purely personality or brand led social media traction. Delinking hashtag content from the content creator in this way to a degree, greatly increases the potential for hashtag registered users to generate income by monetising its hashtags.
We are extremely excited not only by the potential of the Gistsy platform but also by the way in which users can greatly benefit both personally and financially from the many opportunities provided by this platform. And very proud of the involvement of five small teams spread across the UK, India, Bangladesh, Philippines and USA all working together to achieve a common goal.

OUR APP’s FOCUS
Our App is focused on content rather than the just the personality of the content creator . The content could range from a person’s life story to a brand to a company’s position in that sector. The content would be shared within clearly defined categories and channels. Limiting the number of hashtags that can be included within any posts means it encourages getting to the core of what the post is about and should discourage spam content.
We encourage engagement, hence we have done away with the more common ‘like’ response. Instead our platform is designed to encourage engagement by hooking onto post a user might find engaging or would like to contribute to without being obliged to follow the personality behind the post.
Hooking to a post is also a way to show engagement or acknowledgement (hear you, join you, feel you or stand with you) and saves the outdated ‘Thumbs up’ or ‘Like’ button. How many times have we felt uncomfortable reading a post on bereavement or break-up and an audience showing acknowledgement by liking it. Our platform allows for a more appropriate situational response.
